It’s not just what you know, it’s who you know, and especially, who knows you.

I like to go places where I don’t know anybody and nobody knows me. Everything is new and different. People talking in languages I don’t understand becomes background music. I have to figure out their transit system, grocery stores, currency, and how to cross the street.
